Hey there, fabulous humans! I’m Tater Tot! I’m a really handsome, fun, smart, loving 3-month-old Havanese baby, and I’m on the lookout for my forever family. Are you ready for non-stop smiles, wagging tails, and a companion who will always be right there for you? Well, look no further because I’m your guy!

First things first, let’s talk about my dazzling looks. I’ve got this silky-soft, stunning white coat that you just won’t be able to resist running your fingers through. And when I’m zooming around the yard, you’ll catch a glimpse of my incredible, happy smile. Yep, that’s right – I’m not just a pretty face; I’ve got the moves to match!

Now, let me tell you a little secret about myself. I’m not just a dog; I’m a professional people lover. Seriously, if you’re a hooman, I’m all about you! Big, small, tall, short – I haven’t met a hooman (or dog) I don’t like. I want to be where the action is, and where my people are! I could be hired on as a professional shadow and rake in the milk bones!

I had a bit of a rough start in a puppy mill cage, but now that I’ve got my freedom, I’m on a mission to make every day pawsitively amazing. Tug of war, exploring the yard, snuggling, eating (oh, I love food almost as much as I love you!), and then repeat – that’s my daily routine.

And let me tell you, I’m not the kind of pup who wants to laze around while you ignore me. Nope, I’m a busy guy who craves engagement and enrichment. I’m all about learning new things, and once I’ve mastered a task, I’ll keep doing it just to see that proud look on your face.

Potty training? Yeah, I’m getting the hang of it, but I’ll need a schedule and some outdoor adventures to keep it on track. Shower me with lovies and over-the-top rewards, and I’ll bend over backward (or maybe just wag my tail really hard) to make you happy!

I’m dreaming of a forever home with an active, adventurous family who work from home (because let’s face it, I want you around all the time). Bonus points if there are other friendly dogs to play with – I’m a social butterfly and love making furry friends.

KNOWN HISTORY – This precious kiddo was surrendered to rescue by a commercial kennel. These dogs were nothing more than a number in their previous lives, but their lives changed forever the day they were surrendered to PRAR! They’ve spent their time with us living in wonderful, loving foster homes learning what it’s like to be genuinely loved. ❤️

Tater’s adoption fee is $850. The adoption fee includes neuter, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations and dewormers, and 30 days of health insurance. He will come home with a hobo bag of things to help him get started in his new furever home. You can apply to welcome this handsome lil’ devil into your family by completing an adoption application below.

Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog, (professional training will be required within 1 year of adoption) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying, (see minimum requirements above).

About This Breed:

Havanese, the only dog breed native to Cuba, are cheerful little dogs with a spring in their step and a gleam in their big, brown eyes. These vivacious and sociable companions are becoming especially popular with American city dwellers. Distinctive features of the Havanese include a curled-over tail and a gorgeous silky coat, which comes in a variety of colors and requires regular grooming. Happily, Havenese are just as cute no matter what hairdo you give them. Their small but sturdy bodies, adaptable nature, and social skills make Havanese an ideal city dog, but they are content to be anywhere that they can command the attention of admirers young and old alike. Havanese, smart and trainable extroverts with the comic instincts of a born clown, are natural trick dogs. Havanese are also excellent watchdogs and take the job seriously, but will usually keep the barking to a minimum.
