💜 Adopt Professor Picklesworth – Doctor of Devotion, Specialist in Loving You Too Much 💜

There he is.

Fourteen pounds of pure, concentrated, emotionally devastating charm… sitting there like he didn’t just completely rearrange your future in under five seconds.

Professor Picklesworth is the kind of dog who doesn’t enter your life…
he enrolls you in it.

And the course?
Full-time companionship. No electives. No dropping out.

👔 A Distinguished Gentleman (With a Wiggle That Cannot Be Contained)

Let’s start with the obvious:
this man is absurdly handsome.

A perfectly polished little tricolor package, with warm caramel cheeks, a sleek black coat, and the kind of bright white chest that looks like he dressed himself for the occasion. And those eyes? Deep. Dark. Soft. The kind that make you say “I love you” out loud before you even realize you’ve spoken.

And just when you think he couldn’t possibly be any more charming…

You look at him.

…and his entire body says, “OH MY GOD IT’S YOU!!!!”

Not just the tail.
The whole back end gets involved. It’s a full-body celebration. A joyful, wiggly, completely unfiltered expression of “you are my favorite thing that has ever existed.”

🛋️ The Lap Dog to End All Lap Dogs

Listen carefully, because this is not a suggestion.

If you sit down…
Professor Picklesworth will be in your lap.

Not eventually. Not maybe. Not “if he feels like it.”
Immediately.

He is the gold standard of lap dogs. The blueprint. The final boss of cuddling.

Other dogs dabble in affection.
Picklesworth commits to it.

He will curl into you on the couch, tuck himself into your side, lean into you like he’s trying to become part of your skeletal system, and then stay there as long as humanly possible.

He doesn’t just like closeness.
He needs it. Chooses it. Thrives in it.

🐾 Your Shadow, Your Sidekick, Your Everything

Professor Picklesworth is deeply, beautifully people-oriented.

He follows you.
He checks in on you.
He wants to be wherever you are, doing whatever you’re doing, preferably touching you in some capacity at all times.

Working at your desk? He’d like to be under it.
Relaxing on the couch? He’s already there.

There is something incredibly pure about the way he loves—it’s not casual, it’s not distant… it’s intentional and wholehearted.

🎾 Playful, Silly, and Occasionally Competitive

While his primary career is “Professional Snuggler,” Picklesworth absolutely has a playful side.

He enjoys toys (with a known fondness for a certain green cactus 👀), gets the zoomies with his dog friends, and will happily run around and join in on the fun.

He can be social and playful with other dogs, though he’s had a couple of “hey, excuse me sir” moments with another male dog in his foster home. Nothing serious, just occasional misunderstandings that seemed to come and go as quickly as they started. He has done beautifully with a female dog and could do well as an only dog or with the right companion.

🚗 Small But Mighty (and Ready to Go Anywhere)

At just 14 pounds, Professor Picklesworth is the perfect “take me everywhere” size.

He fits into your life easily… but don’t be fooled—his presence is anything but small.

🧠 Smart Boy, Still Learning

Picklesworth is doing well with potty training when taken out consistently and understands the routine, though he’s still working on full reliability inside the home.

He is food motivated (hello, training potential 👏), and while he’s shown he can sit, he may benefit from one-on-one training time without distractions to really shine.

He is crate-free in his foster home when left alone and has shown no destructive behavior—he simply waits patiently for his human to return… likely planning his next cuddle session.

🛁 The Lean™ (Yes, It Deserves Its Own Section)

We need to talk about the lean.

Because it’s not just a quirk.
It’s an experience.

When you’re holding him, bathing him, standing near him… he presses into you. Not lightly. Not casually.

He leans like you are the only solid thing in his world.

It’s soft. It’s trusting. It’s deeply, ridiculously endearing.
And once it happens, you will never emotionally recover.

🏡 His Perfect Match

Professor Picklesworth would thrive in a home where:

  • He can be close to his person often
  • His affection is welcomed (and returned enthusiastically)
  • He can be the center of someone’s world—or a very cherished co-star

He may do best as an only dog or with a compatible, easygoing companion (especially female), but above all… he wants his person.

💜 The Bottom Line

If you are looking for independence, personal space, or emotional distance…

This is not your guy.

But if you are looking for a deeply devoted, affectionate, ride-or-die companion who will love you with his entire being…
who will curl into your life and never leave your side…

Professor Picklesworth is already waiting for you.
