✨ Meet Meeps

There are puppies who gently trot through life.

And then there are puppies like Meeps, who appear to have springs installed in their legs and a personal life philosophy that goes something like this:

“RUN! PLAY! WRESTLE! FETCH! PUZZLES! BALL PIT! SNACKS! KISSES! OKAY NAP NOW!”

Meeps is a Pomeranian/Poodle mix born November 14, 2025, weighing in at a very portable 7 pounds of joyful chaos and silky-soft fluff.

His foster mom describes him as a happy-go-lucky little ball of fun, and honestly that might be the most accurate summary of this entire dog.

Because Meeps wakes up every day with one mission:

Experience maximum joy.

Preferably at full speed.

☁️ The Cream Puff Situation

Let’s address the obvious first.

Meeps looks like someone took a tiny cloud, added silky cream-colored curls, and gave it the most melt-your-heart little face imaginable.

His fur is soft, fluffy, and snuggle-approved, the kind of coat that practically begs for cozy cuddles and gentle head scratches.

His eyes are bright and expressive, constantly scanning the room for the next exciting thing to investigate — which could be a toy, a sibling, a human, or occasionally a stray piece of chicken.

And when he tilts his head?

That’s it.

You’re done.

Your heart will simply pack up its belongings and move directly into Meeps’ tiny kingdom.

🦘 Built Like a Baby Kangaroo

Meeps does not simply run.

Meeps bounces.

His foster mom says when he gets excited (which is often), he hops around like a tiny baby kangaroo, springing from one activity to the next with complete enthusiasm.

Ball thrown?
BOUNCE.

Sibling running?
BOUNCE.

Toy spotted across the room?
BOUNCE BOUNCE BOUNCE.

He’s joyful in the most contagious way possible — the kind of puppy who makes it nearly impossible to stay in a bad mood when he’s around.

🎾 Play Mode: Activated

When Meeps is awake, he is very much in play mode.

He loves:

  • Wrestling with his foster siblings

  • Playing tug-of-war

  • Chasing balls

  • Playing fetch

  • Exploring enrichment toys

  • Rooting around in the ball pit like a tiny treasure hunter

And he’s not just cute — he’s smart, too.

Meeps is already working on Level 3 puzzle toys, which means his little brain is happily solving problems while his body burns off energy.

But his favorite game?

A highly strategic sport called:

Steal The Ball At The Last Second.

When someone throws a ball for another dog, Meeps will quietly position himself at the far end of the room… wait… wait… and then dash in at the last possible moment to snatch the prize.

When he succeeds?

He prances around like a tiny prince who has just conquered a kingdom.

Mission accomplished.

💜 The Sweet Side of the Chaos

Despite all his playfulness, Meeps is also an incredibly sweet little guy.

Once he finally wears himself out from bouncing around the house like a tiny marsupial, he is very happy to enjoy some affection.

He loves tummy rubs, quick snuggles, and little cuddle moments — though he’s not exactly a “stay still forever” lap dog.

Meeps is more of a “kiss-and-run” affection specialist.

He’ll run over, give you kisses, soak up a little love… and then dash back off to resume his important puppy duties.

🧠 Smart Boy, Still Learning

Meeps is doing wonderfully with potty training and actively seeks out potty pads when he needs to go.

Like any young puppy, he will continue improving with routine and consistency as he grows.

He’s already learning new things every day and is starting to work on cues like sit, while also confidently navigating stairs like a pro.

With his intelligence and eagerness to engage, Meeps is the kind of dog who will absolutely thrive in a home that continues offering enrichment, playtime, and learning opportunities.

🏡 The Perfect Home for Meeps

Meeps is a social little guy who absolutely thrives with canine companionship.

His foster family believes he must have another playful dog in the home, ideally one close to his size who enjoys wrestling, chasing, and general puppy antics.

His ideal home would include:

• Another playful dog companion
• A family who enjoys interacting with their dog daily
• Plenty of playtime, enrichment, and activities
• A home environment that isn’t overly loud or chaotic

Meeps loves being part of the action, but he does best when the environment isn’t overwhelming or overly noisy.

He’s happiest when he has playmates, toys, puzzles, and people who engage with him.

💫 The Meeps Effect

Meeps has a way of turning ordinary moments into something joyful.

A tossed ball becomes a championship event.

A cuddle becomes a celebration.

A quiet moment becomes an opportunity to bounce, explore, and bring a little more happiness into the room.

His foster mom says you simply can’t be in a bad mood when Meeps is around.

And honestly?

That might be the best description of him yet.

KNOWN HISTORY:

This kiddo was rescued from the pet trade. Living in a real home now, they are learning all about life outside of the cage with their loving foster families. They are enjoying playtime, beginning training, learning structure, and having the BEST time of their lives. (so far)

About This Breed Mix:

The Pomapoo is a small-sized cross between a Pomeranian and a Toy or Miniature Poodle. With their fluffy coats, expressive eyes, and petite size, Pomapoos are irresistibly cute companions. Known for their playful and affectionate nature, these designer dogs thrive on companionship and enjoy being the center of attention.

Pomapoo personality
Pomapoos are known for their friendly, affectionate, and lively personalities. They often inherit the playful and outgoing nature of both Pomeranians and Poodles. Because Pomapoos are intelligent and eager to please, they are relatively easy to train. They are also quite playful with a curious nature, making them great playmates for families. Despite their small size, Pomapoos can exhibit a bold personality and may act as little guardians. They bond closely with their human families and tend to seek companionship, so they do best in environments where they receive plenty of love and attention.

Temperament and behavior
Affectionate: Loves to cuddle and be close to family members.
Playful: Enjoys games and interactive playtime, making them great companions for children.
Intelligent: Quick learners who respond well to training and mental stimulation.
Sociable: Friendly with people and often gets along well with other pets.
Curious: Naturally inquisitive, exploring their environment and seeking out new experiences.
Alert: Tends to bark at strangers or unfamiliar noises, showcasing a protective instinct.
Energetic: Requires regular playtime and exercise to keep them happy and healthy.
Companionship-Seeking: Prefers to be around people and may experience separation anxiety if left alone for long periods.
Training and socialization
Early socialization and positive reinforcement training are crucial due to their intelligence and potential stubbornness. Of course, their intelligence allows them to pick up commands quickly, so early training is key to establishing good behavior from the start. Use praise, treats, and affection to reward desired behavior. Pomapoos respond well to positive reinforcement, and this approach will keep them motivated and engaged.

Pomapoo care
Caring for a Pomapoo involves providing a balanced lifestyle that includes regular exercise, mental stimulation, and social interaction. These dogs thrive on companionship and should be integrated into family activities to keep them happy and engaged. Daily walks, play sessions, and interactive toys are essential to meet their physical and mental needs. Regular veterinary check-ups, vaccinations, and preventive treatments for parasites are necessary to maintain their overall well-being.

Pomapoo grooming needs
Regular brushing is essential to prevent matting and tangling, especially if they inherit the longer fur from their Pomeranian parent. Bathing should be done as needed, usually every 4 to 6 weeks, using a gentle dog shampoo to keep their coat clean and healthy. Regular grooming appointments with a professional groomer can help maintain their coat and overall appearance. Additionally, it’s important to attend to their nails, ears, and teeth to ensure complete grooming care.
