Meet Winston, our 3-month-old Miniature Schnauzer puppy who will undoubtedly melt your heart with his irresistible charm and infectious joy! This happy-go-lucky pup is searching for a forever home where he can shower his humans with unconditional love.

When Winston’s hoomans are around, he simply can’t contain his excitement! He thrives on the love and companionship of his family, and his tail wags like a whirlwind when you’re near. But don’t worry, when his hoomans have tasks to attend to, Winston is perfectly content keeping himself occupied with toys. 

Winston is a master of canine social cues and respects the boundaries of his fellow furry friends. He takes cues from the other dogs in his home, knowing exactly when they want to play or have some quiet time. Playing with other friendly dogs is a big win for our boy, especially when it involves zoomies around the kitchen island! His hilarious antics will absolutely keep you in stitches!

If there’s one thing Winston adores more than playtime, it’s snuggling up close to his favorite humans. As soon as he sees his hoomans, his whole body wiggles and he just wants to be scooped up so he can nuzzle into your neck for as long as you’ll let him!  Get ready for the most adorable kisses you’ve ever received because Winston is a true smooch expert!

His love for tennis balls and socks is matched only by his obsession with a carrot toy that’s probably smaller than his little paw. But don’t be fooled by its size; Winston fearlessly engages in tug-of-war battles, proving he’s a pint-sized champion. And when it comes to the game of ice hockey, he’ll swat that ice cube around until it melts, providing you (and him) with endless entertainment.

Winston’s snuggles are legendary, earning him an A+ in the cuddle department. With those captivating eyes that seem to peer into your soul, he’ll convince you that you are his person and he is your pup. 

This little ball of fluff also has a touch of elegance. With each prance around the house, he’ll make you smile and giggle, reminding you of a miniature dressage horse in all his adorable glory. 

Winston’s unwavering desire to be by your side makes him the perfect companion for any activity. Whether you’re cooking up a storm or settling in to watch TV, he’ll be right there, warming your lap and your heart simultaneously. And after dinner, he’ll come running to you with gratitude in his eyes, thanking you for the delicious meal you provided.

Training Winston is a breeze due to his eagerness to please and his insatiable food motivation. Redirecting his puppy antics is as simple as saying “no,” and he’ll quickly respond. Plus, his little white spot on the top of his head gives him a dashing look, as if he’s always ready to don a top hat and monocle, adding an extra touch of sophistication to his playful nature.

When he’s feeling sleepy, Winston finds his bliss in being combed. Just watch as he melts into a puddle of relaxation, content with the gentle grooming that keeps him looking his best. He’s already doing well with his potty pads. With a little patience and consistent guidance, Winston will soon become a potty training champion! Winston’s adoption fee is $850 and includes neuter, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations and dewormers, and 30 days of medical insurance. He will come home with a hobo bag of things to help him get started in his new furever home. You can apply to welcome him into your family by completing an adoption application below.

Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog, (professional training will be required within 1 year of adoption) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying, (see minimum requirements above).
