💗 ADOPT WINNIE! 💗

Winnifred is our bossy Boston with personality for dayzzzz. If you offer her treats, butt scratches and a few extra snuggles, she will let you call her by her real name–Winnie. Perfect in every way, this smushy-faced, curly tailed little boo has overcome the odds and holds no animosity for the rough start she had as a baby. She’s always the first to greet her foster momma in the morning and the last to settle down when it is bedtime.

Balls, bones, squeaky toys…you name it–she loves to play! Once she’s all tuckered out, be sure she will have at least twenty-seven fuzzy beds around cause this girl loves herself a good dog bed (and no, she’s not interested in sharing a bed, unless it’s with a hooman of course). She will settle for a spot on your lap as long as there is a warm blanket under which to snuggle. While she is working on potty training, Win definitely doesn’t need work in the people pleasing department. She is comfortable around all people, young or old, and absolutely loves to play. She will do best in a home with another dog who is willing to share the
hoomans and the food, but can assure she will have her own bed. And did I mention she loves dog beds–Ha! If interested in this perfect lil’ piglet, please submit an adoption application below!

KNOWN HISTORYThis precious kiddo was surrendered to rescue by a commercial kennel. These dogs were nothing more than a number in their previous lives, but their lives changed forever the day they were surrendered to PRAR! They’ve spent their time with us living in wonderful, loving foster homes learning what it’s like to be genuinely loved. ❤️

Won’t you please consider adding this precious, sweet, loving, special little girl to your family? If you are not quite ready to add a new member to your family, won’t you please #SHARE our adoptable kiddos on social media? You never know when your share is the share that will bring them home.

Winnie’s adoption fee is $850. Her adoption fee includes spay, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations and dewormers, and 30 days of medical insurance. She will come home with a hobo bag of things to help her get started in her new furever home. You can apply to welcome her into your family by completing an adoption application below.

Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog (now and in the future) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying.

About this breed:

The Boston Terrier is a lively little companion recognized by his tight tuxedo jacket, sporty but compact body, and the friendly glow in his big, round eyes. His impeccable manners have earned him the nickname ‘The American Gentleman.’ Boston Terriers are compact, short-tailed, well-balanced little dogs weighing no more than 25 pounds. The stylish ‘tuxedo’ coat can be white and either black, brindle, or seal (dark brown). The head is square, the muzzle is short, and the large, round eyes can shine with kindness, curiosity, or mischief. Ever alert to their surroundings, Bostons move with a jaunty, rhythmic step. It’s a safe bet that a breed named for a city the Havanese or Brussels Griffon, for instance will make an excellent urban pet. Bostons are no exception: they are sturdy but portable, people-oriented, and always up for a brisk walk to the park or outdoor cafe. A bright dog with a natural gift for comedy, the dapper Bostonian is a steady source of smiles.
