ADOPT WAFFLES! 

Ya’ll… Ya gotta meet Waffles! He’s an adorable 3.5-month-old Shih-tzu puppy who will steal your heart with his Ewok-like appearance! Waffles is a playful and sweet boy who has an easy-going nature and a love for exploration. He’s a low-key guy who knows how to entertain himself and enjoys his own company. Although he loves engaging in chase and wrestling games with his siblings, his favorite pastime is undoubtedly nap time.

Waffles is a very affectionate pup and greets you with the most adorable butt wags, showing his excitement and happiness. He’s incredibly curious and always wants to be a part of whatever the humans are up to. Whether it’s following you around the house or trying to lend a paw, he’s always eager to be involved. While Waffles is an excellent athlete, he still retains his clumsy puppy charm. You’ll often find him looking surprised when he misjudges a leap into his playpen or accidentally crashes into a wall.

One of Waffles’ unique habits is his love for sitting on the AC vent during hot summer days. With his long luscious locks blowing in the breeze created by the vent, he looks like a supermodel enjoying a cool pampering session. Waffles is constantly checking in with the humans, seeking a quick pet before he happily resumes his playtime adventures.

When he’s being held, Waffles prefers to perch on your chest, gazing into your face with his loving eyes. He’s adapted remarkably well to his foster home and quickly grasped the routine. Waffles has a mischievous side too, often sticking his little pink tongue out at people, adding an extra dose of cuteness to his already charming personality.

Waffles would thrive in a home with air conditioning since his beautiful, soft hair makes him susceptible to getting hot easily. He’s been diligently using his potty pads and is in the process of learning to go outside for his business.

KNOWN HISTORY – BROKER SURRENDER. This kiddo was very likely bred at a puppy mill, where they were nothing more than a number. Their lives changed the day they were surrendered to PRAR! They’ve lived in loving foster homes with wonderful families to show them what the GOOD LIFE looks like!

Waffles’ adoption fee is $850 and includes neuter, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations and dewormers, and 30 days of medical insurance. He will come home with a hobo bag of things to help him get started in his new furever home. You can apply to welcome him into your family by completing an adoption application below.

Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER, even if you move or have children. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog (now and in the future) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying.
