💗 VIPER 💗

Viper is a unique looking GSD/Labradoodle mix pup who LOVES to talk. Nothing gets him more excited than seeing his hoomans for the first time every day! He is definitely looking forward to the day when he has his own doggy bed, right next to his people’s bed. While he is incredibly docile and independent, he genuinely loves knowing that he is loved. Viper is a total goofball and is SUPER SILLY when he plays. He doesn’t appear to be as big a fan of water as his sister, Penny, but that could change. He is learning to retrieve, but is very smart and often wonders why he is chasing something – only to have to do it again?? Speaking of smart… this little guy is only 9 weeks old and sits on command! He is learning to “shake”, “stay” and “wait.” He will be the goodest of boys and will be easy to train. He is highly treat motivated! While Viper is truly a rare gem, he can be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly. His foster mom’s favorite thing about him is how he wil come sit next to you when you are busily doing things and looks up as if to say, “whatcha doin” with the most amazing puppy dog eyes! They also love that when he plays, he gets himself so worked up, talking up a storm, and then dramatically falls over because he is just having way too much fun. He’ll also tell you just how good it feels when you are petting his luxurious coat! He is doing very well with potty training, and only has an accident if his humans wait too long to take him out. He has done well with dogs, cats and children in his foster home, when properly introduced. Whoever adopts this kiddo will be a lucky family, indeed!

Viper says: “Viper sounds intimidating but I’m a TOTAL LOVE! I am very easy going and am content doing just about anything. I love to play with people and other dogs but I’m also content to just observe the action. I get along with everyone—kids, grown ups and other dogs.  In fact, my foster mom says Im the smartest little dog she’s ever fostered! I love to play, snuggle or just sit outside soaking up the warm sunshine. My quiet spirit is so calming and I will bring joy to anyone who is lucky to be by my side.”

KNOWN HISTORY – The “Top Gun” litter was born in OK. Sadly, their mom was not okay with having babies, and began killing them when they were a day or two old. The surviving puppies were immediately turned over to rescue, where they were all bottle raised in a loving, caring foster home.

Won’t you please consider adding this precious, sweet, loving little boy to your family? If you are not quite ready to add a new member to your family, won’t you please #SHARE our adoptable kiddos on social media? You never know when your share is the share that will bring them home.

Viper’s adoption fee is $450 and includes neuter, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations, dewormers, and heartworm prevention started. He will come home with a hobo bag of things to help him get started in his new furever home. You can apply to welcome him into your family by completing an adoption application below.

Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER, even if you move or have children. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog (now and in the future) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying.
