ALLIE
VERGIL
Vergil is a 22 month old, 37lb Terrier Mix (possibly with Basset Hound). Hi all, my name is Virgil and I am a very loving and cuddly little dude! You would think that having short legs would slow me down, but if I want some attention I know who dishes it out and I’ll be right by my hoomans’ side! I LOVE toys especially the ones where I can pull all that fun stuffing out, so tough toys are best for me. I want to check out EVERYTHING whether it is the closet, the cat, the pantry or the corner of the yard. I am smart, too, so I can find a way to open the dog gate or the closet, but I don’t do any damage. I like going outside, but mostly I like being with my hoomans. At night, my favorite thing is to lay on top of my foster mom’s feet. I keep her warm and safe as she slumbers. During the day, I am really cuddly and will lay on a lap for hours at a time if my hoomans will let me. I am a pretty chill guy. I didn’t get a whole lot of attention in my previous life, and I gotta say – All the love and attention I’m getting now is AWESOME! I am just now learning that going on a walk on a leash is really cool! I am still young, and have many years left to love my new family. Everyone says I am sweet, fun, snuggly, smart and absolutely adorable. I like to wrestle and play with my sister to get our playful wiggles out. I love to run around, play with toys and check out everything, so I do need a yard with a good fence. I am totally potty-trained and love the doggie door. PEOPLE are really the focal point for me. I will jump up on my people because I am just so excited to see them, but I am gentle about it. I am really well behaved when my people are working (except I do distract our foster mom as I will wrestle quietly with my sister or just be adorably snuggled on my dog bed and she needs to turn the video camera to show me off). And, the highlight of my day is cuddle-time on the couch or in bed. I am pretty well-behaved with the cat at the foster home, I have been good with other dogs and I would be great with kids as I am quite gentle. Please consider taking me home to be part of your family!
KNOWN HISTORY – Allie and Vergil grew up together in OK. Allie does seem to be bonded to Vergil. They were surrendered to rescue when their owner got pregnant.

Allie & Vergil’s adoption fees are $450 each, if adopted seperately.
If they are adopted together, the adoption fee is $750 total.
