These dogs were nothing more than a number in their previous lives, but their lives changed forever the day they were surrendered to PRAR! Skye’s adoption fee is $750. Her adoption fee includes spay, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations and dewormers. She will come home with a hobo bag of things to help her get started in her new furever home. You can apply to welcome her into your family by completing an adoption application below.

The Australian Shepherd is a medium-sized dog with a moderately long, double coat that can be straight or wavy. They are intelligent, energetic, and loyal. Aussies are typically eager to please and are easy to train. They are also very good with children and other pets. Aussie dogs are very active and need plenty of exercise. They are well-suited for a variety of activities, such as agility, obedience, and herding. Aussies exhibit an irresistible impulse to herd, anything: birds, dogs, kids. This strong work drive can make Aussies too much dog for a sedentary pet owner. Aussies are remarkably intelligent, quite capable of hoodwinking an unsuspecting novice owner.
