This wee-little man might be small but he has a great big, fun loving personality! He loves to play with the big dogs because – he thinks he is one, but when it comes down to it, he melts in your arms, loves to be in your lap, and wants to be by your side as much as possible. “Shorty” enjoys most of the things that pups love, like showing off his zoomie skillz outside, chasing squirrels and sunbathing on the deck. Feeding and treat time is one of his favorite times of the day! He loves to sit on your lap while working at home – sometimes he sleeps through web meetings and sometimes he likes to say hello We are still working on sit as he has a hard time not wiggling when he gets excited, and he’d rather roll over for belly rubs Short stack sleeps through the night most nights in a kennel (has only woken up twice to be let out to go potty) and he is nearly fully potty trained to go outside if he is let out reasonably often. Short stack would do well in a family with other pets (cats or dogs), big dogs must be mellow and laid back. Come sweep up this little heart throb, he is anxiously awaiting his new furever family. ♥

KNOWN HISTORY – Shorty Boi was found running stray all by his lonesome in S.W. Kansas! Nobody cared enough to come find him, so we brought him into our program to give him the second chance he desperately needed to find a family who will love him as much as we do! ♥

Sam’s adoption fee is $550 and includes neuter, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations, dewormers, and heartworm prevention started. He will come home with a hobo bag of things to help him get started in his new furever home. You can apply to welcome him into your family by completing an adoption application below.

Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog (now and in the future) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying.
