💗 ADOPT RUMOR! 💗

Hello ya’ll! Please take a moment to roll out the red carpet for our little princess, Rumor, as she confidently enters your heart. This little, 3 pound diva, knows how to keep everyone in her castle laughing, playing and on their toes. This pre-Madonna loves tromping around with her spunky puppy energy, playing and rough housing with her siblings, and setting the stage for adventure. When she isn’t playing, there is no place Rumor would rather be than on her throne, (that is in your arms or on your lap people!) getting a belly rub or just knowing that she holds title to your heart. Despite Rumor’s sad beginnings, being caged in a puppy mill, she has claimed her new life fiercely, knowing the special GEM that she is. She is looking for a family who will adore her and will let her share her joyous love and light. We think Rumor would flourish in a home with other playmates- either a family with older, respectful kids and/or other friendly dogs. She certainly is not timid and can very much hold her own with big dogs too. So, whaddya say? Are you ready for puppy royalty to move in and slather you with affection?

KNOWN HISTORYThis precious kiddo was surrendered to rescue by a commercial kennel. These dogs were nothing more than a number in their previous lives, but their lives changed forever the day they were surrendered to PRAR! They’ve spent their time with us living in wonderful, loving foster homes learning what it’s like to be genuinely loved. ❤️

Won’t you please consider adding this precious, sweet, loving little girl to your family? If you are not quite ready to add a new member to your family, won’t you please #SHARE our adoptable kiddos on social media? You never know when your share is the share that will bring them home.

Rumor’s adoption fee is $850 and includes spay, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations and dewormers, and 30 days of medical insurance. She will come home with a hobo bag of things to help her get started in her new furever home. You can apply to welcome her into your family by completing an adoption application below.

Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog, (professional training will be required within 1 year of adoption) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying, (see minimum requirements above).

About This Breed Mix:

People love the Yorkshire terrier, and they love the Maltese, so it’s only natural they would want to combine the two for a mixed breed that has the fluff and sweetness of a Maltese and the verve and coloring of a Yorkie. Universe, meet the Morkie. Like their parent breeds, Morkies are small, energetic toy dogs who love their families. Because they can be vocal about unfamiliar people, they also make good alarm systems, alerting their owners to someone walking up to the door with a sharp bark. Caring for a Morkie is pretty straightforward: Consistent, positive reinforcement training, a moderate amount of regular exercise, and regular grooming. The Morkie coat, while typically long, is often kept in a short puppy cut. Morkies are a low-shedding dog. And while no dog is truly hypoallergenic, Morkies can be a good fit for those who tend to sniffle around puppies.
