Ronald is the sweetest, most loving, gentle soul on the planet, hands-down. He’s a beautiful 5 month old Cavalier King Charles / Poodle mix pup. He LOVES to play with other dogs, and another friendly dog in the home will be a requirement. Ronald is still working on potty training, and sometimes has an accident overnight, but he’s still young and with continued training, he will get this mastered. He just mastered “sit” and loves to show off this talent in exchange for yummy treats! Ronald is a sensitive soul and wears his feelings on his face. His eyes are the window to his soul, and he speaks volumes with a mere glance. Ronald is precious in his innocence, and his love for people and other animals is a gift that he gives freely to this often harsh world. Ronald has never met a stranger, and will happily crawl into the arms of anyone who will hold and love him. Ronald doesn’t particularly care for going places without his hoomans, and simple trips to the groomer can be stressful as he learns to build his confidence out in the community. The company of his doggy friends and humans help this immensely.
Ronald has stolen the heart of everyone who has had the pleasure of meeting him. He did this for his rescuer, too. We are in no hurry to see Ronald leave, and will hold out until the most perfect home is found. We think Ronald would do well with a family who will treasure him for the gift he is and the gifts he gives in return. He loves to run, play, and explore in the yard with his 4-legged friends, so a nice, spacious yard will be required. Ronald sleeps curled up in bed with his first mom, and would need that same comfort in his new home. Ronald’s best friend is a Mini Schnauzer named Richie. Continued contact with both Richie and his first mom will also be a must. Ronald loves toys, of course… but his happy place is with the other dogs and the hoomans, so a home where his humans can be home with him more often that not would be wonderful. Ronald is a very special little boy and he deserves a very special hooman to give his undying love to.
KNOWN HISTORY – This precious kiddo was surrendered to rescue by a commercial kennel. These dogs were nothing more than a number in their previous lives, but their lives changed forever the day they were surrendered to PRAR! They’ve spent their time with us living in wonderful, loving foster homes learning what it’s like to be genuinely loved. ❤️

Ronald’s adoption fee is $850 and includes neuter, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations and dewormers, and 30 days of medical insurance. A Cavapoo is a terrific pup for first-time dog owners, families in search of an adorable playmate for children, or seniors who want an endearing companion. Another reason these dogs are often in high demand is the belief that their low-shedding poodle genes increase the likelihood that Cavapoos are hypoallergenic. While the Mayo Clinic stresses that no dog is allergen-free, some people might have less reaction to the proteins found in a Cavapoo’s dander, saliva, and urine.
