But it’s not just his unique appearance that sets him apart; River’s striking crystal-clear blue eyes will melt your heart in an instant. 😍

River is a bundle of joy and a certified goofball! He’s always up for playtime, whether it’s chasing after toys, engaging in epic zoomies, or tootling around the yard with his doggy pals. This little guy thrives on attention and engagement and can’t get enough of interactive games with humans and fellow canines. Chase, fetch, pool time? Count him in!

But River’s fun-loving spirit doesn’t end with playtime. He’s an absolute people pleaser who adores EVERYONE he meets. His tail wags at warp speed when he gets those “atta boys” and tasty treats – he’s ready to be your star student when it comes to training. Being an Aussie, he’s known for his intelligence, making training a breeze.

River is also diligently working on his potty training skills. With a consistent schedule and practice, he’s on the right track to becoming a potty-trained pro. 🚽

Having come from a puppy mill, River is savoring every moment of his newfound freedom. He’s discovered the joys of snuggles and cuddles, and he can’t get enough. 🤗

This energetic pup is looking for an active and involved owner who will cherish his playful nature and help him blossom into the incredible companion he’s destined to be. River will need a spacious, fully-fenced yard where he can explore to his heart’s content.

About this breed:

The Australian Shepherd is a medium-sized dog with a moderately long, double coat that can be straight or wavy. They are intelligent, energetic, and loyal. Aussies are typically eager to please and are easy to train. They are also very good with children and other pets. Aussie dogs are very active and need plenty of exercise. They are well-suited for a variety of activities, such as agility, obedience, and herding. Aussies exhibit an irresistible impulse to herd, anything: birds, dogs, kids. This strong work drive can make Aussies too much dog for a sedentary pet owner. Aussies are remarkably intelligent, quite capable of hoodwinking an unsuspecting novice owner. But if you’re looking for a brainy, tireless, and trainable partner for work or sport, your search might end here.
