#AdoptablePoppy is a GORGEOUS, short-legged, long bodied beauty! This ‘Cowgirl Corgi’ has a plume of white at the the end and she has the softest, silkiest fur you’ve ever felt. She communicates to the world with her beautiful, soulful brown eyes and expressive ears. Both smart, and sensitive, Poppy needs time to build trust, but most folks won’t even give the shy dogs a chance to try. We know that if you just give her the time she needs to get comfortable, you will see the amazing dog that she is! She is the sweetest, happiest, most loving little girl. Her tail wags non-stop when her hoomans talk to her. True to the Aussie in her, the herding tendency is noted when rounding up her 5 little babies, and she does a check in with each of the humans in the home. Cuddles and lots of kisses are an expected part of this routine.

Poppy warms up slowly to new dogs. Once she feels comfortable, she gets along exceptionally well! Poppy makes her morning rounds in the back yard with her foster doggy brother. They make quite a team, keeping the family safe from marauding bunnies. Poppy doesn’t really play with toys, (yet). She prefers hanging around her hoomans. She does enjoy being outside and takes long naps while sunning on the deck. Poppy needs work on leash, as she seems to be fearful of it at this time, so a patient and loving owner would benefit her greatly.  She is potty trained. Poppy has not been tested with Cats or children. Due to the herding tendency of her breed, we do not recommend small children for her furever home.

Won’t you please consider adding this precious, sweet, loving little girl to your family? If you are not quite ready to add a new member to your family, won’t you please SHARE our adoptable kiddos to your social media? You never know when your share is the share that will bring them home.

Poppy’s adoption fee is $300 and includes spay, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations, dewormers, and she will come home with a hobo bag of things to help her get started in her new furever home. You can apply to welcome her into your family by completing an adoption application below. Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time or experience to properly train and exercise a dog (now and in the future) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying. APPLICATIONS NOT COMPLETED PROPERLY AND ENTIRELY WILL NOT BE PROCESSED
