1.5 year-old Boxer mix, Pauly has two passions in life: playing and snuggling. We have a giant basket of dog toys that pauly’s foster sisters could care less about. Pauly, on the other hand, has taken out and played with every single one of them. We think he was pretty toy deprived for those months he was at the shelter.  The fun he has playing with toys is SO infectious that his foster sisters have now started to play with them too! His appreciation for his 2nd chance, and his joy for life truly will light up a room! And when he’s tired, his second passion is to snuggle with/on top of his favorite hoomans until he’s ready to play some more. This smart boy is fully potty trained, too! He’s really good with commands including sit, down, come, shake and leave it. He is super smart and very food motivated so the sky really is the limit with training him. Pauly would do best in an active household and would love to have another active, friendly dog to play with. A big back yard to play in is definitely on Pauly’s wish list! He is doing well with his crate training. His only bad habit is counter surfing. He is not destructive at all, just give him lots of toys and he keeps himself quite happy and busy. Pauly’s adoption fee is $400 and includes neuter, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations and dewormers, and he will come home with a hobo bag of things to help him get started in his new furever home. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog, (professional training will be required within 1 year of adoption) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying, (see minimum requirements above).
