#AdoptableOlive is beautiful, outgoing, curious, animated and, the boss. Everyone that has met her falls in love
with her precious, squishy face and adorable underbite. Olive loves the company of people. She equally enjoys
hanging out on the couch and playing outside. Toys really excite her, she loves to throw them
up into the air and then pounce on them when they land. This gets her excited to the point where
she squeals, grunts and barks with enthusiasm. She loves being outside in the yard so that she
can smell everything. She will run around to play and once she gets tired, lays down to
sunbathe. Once it gets too hot, her favorite thing is to lay down on cold tile. She looks forward to
eating breakfast and dinner at the same time everyday. An ocean/fish blend kibble works best
for her digestion and her skin. She has sensitive skin especially on her face. She is food
motivated which helps with training but because of her petite size, we use carrots for treats and
she loves them. She is also obsessed with ice cubes. She’s fully crate trained, knows the
command “go in your crate” and loves to curl up with her fleece blanket. She goes easily in the
crate when you leave the house and when you go to bed. Sometimes she will just hang out in
her crate because that’s her place. She is fully potty trained. She will audibly notify you if she needs to go potty, whether
she is crated or just hanging out. She’s protective of her owners. If you are working from home,
she will independently go lay down on a bed or on the couch to sleep to wait until you are done
Like most dogs, Olive can be a chewer and will need items picked up out of her line of sight like cords, shoes, socks,
masks. Her toys need to be for extreme chewers. Toys are a sensitive topic with her because
she does have difficulty sharing. She will resource guard her food and her toys. She does eat in her crate. She wants to be a counter surfer but she isn’t quite tall enough, LOL! While she has a charming personality with adults, she’s unfortunately and
unpredictably selective regarding other dogs. She walks well on a leash but dogs passing by
clearly bother her and will distract the walk. It is unknown how Olive is around children, she has
not spent enough time around them. She is a bit of a bowling ball and unaware of her own
strength, when she runs it is at full force into her target. She hates the rain. Olive has never
been around cats. She requires a properly installed 6 foot tall
privacy fence as a proper barrier.  She will not allow anyone to cut her nails, she’s very sensitive to having someone
touch her paws in general. Taking treats gently has been an ongoing process, she gets so excited about the treat that she can tend to
bite at the treat a bit harder. She is terrified of the vacuum.

Olive requires a special family, in a special home. There can be no other animals or small children in the home. If you feel like you can give this baby girl the life she deserves, we definitely want to hear from you A.S.A.P.!

Olive’s adoption fee is $100 and includes spay, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations, dewormers, and she will come home with a hobo bag of things to help her get started in her new furever home. You can apply to welcome her into your family by completing an adoption application below. Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER.
