Moira Can Go Home: NOW

Adoption Fee: $400

Moira will require regular professional grooming to have her nails trimmed.

Our sweet, precious, loving, snuggly, snoring #MamaMoira is ready to find her perfect forever home. We are guessing Moira to be about a 3 year old Chi/Shih-Tzu mix.  Moira is a BEAUTIFUL, sweet, happy, adorable little thing. Buuuuut – she doesn’t photograph very well – at all. When you bring out the camera Moira’s eyes bug out of her head. Sometimes one of them hooks right while the other one is looking right at you. Sometimes she just looks at the camera like you’re the hired help and she’s not impressed with you or your mediocre skills – AT ALL. RBF QUEEN OVER HERE! I’m pretty sure she’s doing this so that no one will ever know how gorgeous she is and she won’t have to get adopted! The other part of me thinks my eyes are old,  and this might just be the way she looks. Either way, she is incredibly endearing and we LOVE HER! Moira will give you SO many kisses and freakishly forceful nose boops if your face isn’t low enough to accept her kisses! She will paw at you if she thinks you have stopped petting her too soon. She loves getting lovies, but is perfectly content waiting patiently in her cushy bed while you work or tend to other tasks. She keeps herself occupied, doesn’t chew on furniture or other personal items. Her happy waggle-butt will always let you know just how over-the-moon THRILLED she is to see you when you get home, or even that you just have time to give her some lovies! Get down on her level and she will be in your lap, post-haste! Moira isn’t a one-person-only kinda girl. There is not a faithful bone in her body. Invite a stranger into the house and she’ll jump in their lap, too! Moira has raised her eight babies, and was an excellent, devoted and loving mom. Now that her kids are grown, it’s time for her to find her forever home.  Moira will require regular professional grooming, especially for her nail trims. She’s NOT a fan of having those cut.

KNOWN HISTORY – Moira’s previous owners loved her so much, that they didn’t spay her. She got pregnant and found herself facing euthanasia at an Oklahoma animal shelter. Shelters can not adopt out pregnant moms. Their ONLY hope is for a rescue to save them. This is why fostering animals in need is SO important. Moira and her 8 babies would be dead right now if it weren’t for a foster family saying, “YES!” Moira came to us heavily pregnant and required a cesarean surgery to deliver her EIGHT precious babies! Moira has been treasured by her foster family for nearly 3 months now, and her new family will have to be pretty darn special to get the honor of bringing her home.  Go to our Facebook Page and do a search for “#MamaMoira” to read all about her journey! We would love for a family to adopt her, who knows her entire story.

Won’t you please consider adding this precious, sweet, loving little girl to your family? If you are not quite ready to add a new member to your family, won’t you please #SHARE our adoptable kiddos on social media? You never know when your share is the share that will bring them home.

Moira’s adoption fee is $400. Her adoption fee includes spay, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations and dewormers. She will come home with a hobo bag of things to help her get started in her new furever home. You can apply to welcome her into your family by completing an adoption application below.

Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog (now and in the future) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying.

Please read each question carefully and answer with as much detail and information as possible! If you don’t, you will likely be skipped over for someone who did.
