💗 LUNA 💗

Hi everyone, my name is Luna! My foster momma says I’m about a 6-7 month old Doxie-poo – I think that means my parents were Dachshund and poodle. All I know for certain is I’m positively gorgeous with my soft curly hair and big brown eyes. I am finally out of the horrible place I used to be in, and now I’m looking for someone to love me and care for me FOREVER, I promise to do the same for you! I am SOOOO sweet and cuddly! I am also a wee bitty lass, (I’m only 8 pounds!) and I sometimes get overwhelmed by the very large world around me. Everything is still new to me, so I can be a little nervous in new situations.  I need someone who will be my pack leader and help me remember that I am a dog who can live a carefree and secure life, that I am safe now. She also says I need someone to remind me of my manners because I am still learning how to live outside of a cage, and learning to be friends with other dogs. I’m so happy being a dog, playing with my foster brothers – even the ones that make funny noises and don’t look like me. I’m not afraid at all to wrestle with my big canine brothers even though they are huge compared to me! I’ve even won over the grumpy old one who never plays with puppies. We love to play tug of war, chase balls (well, they chase balls and I chase them), wrestle, and snuggle. The ones that make the funny noises are called cats. They smell funny, but they are about my size are really fun to chase when they run. If they don’t run I’ll nudge them to see if they will play. Sometimes they pounce on me or smack me in the face, but I don’t mind because they are so cute and fluffy! If you take me home with you I will help you clean your house, too. You see I fit really well under furniture and can retrieve all sorts of lost objectives. I’m a collector and will take all my special finds to my bed so everyone knows what a great finder I am. Since I’m still a young-un, I like to put EVERYTHING in my mouth. You might have to keep the small trash cans covered or empty as I love to see what treasures I can find in there! You know what they say, one person’s trash…. Anywho, I hope you have a soft pad in my kennel to sleep on. I will also need some help learning how to tell you when I need to go outside for my nature call. So if you’re willing to love me unconditionally forever I will make it TOTALLY worth your while and give you never ending kisses and snuggles and make sure you are NEVER EVER lonely again.

KNOWN HISTORY – Luna came to us by way of a local dog sanctuary who got her from a backyard mill breeder. There were over 100 dogs on the property, and none were properly cared for. Thankfully, we got her young! She is doing REALLY great, and we are excited for her to find her forever family!

Won’t you please consider adding this precious, sweet, loving little girl to your family? If you are not quite ready to add a new member to your family, won’t you please #SHARE our adoptable kiddos on social media? You never know when your share is the share that will bring them home.

Luna’s adoption fee is $550 and includes spay, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations, and dewormers. She will come home with a hobo bag of things to help her get started in her new furever home. You can apply to welcome her into your family by completing an adoption application below.

Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog (now and in the future) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying.

🚩APPLICATIONS NOT COMPLETED PROPERLY AND ENTIRELY WILL NOT BE PROCESSED🚩 Please read each question carefully and answer thoroughly!
