💗 LILY 💗

Hi, I’m Lily, and I’m looking for a forever family who will give me lots of lovies! My foster mama says that I am a BOOOOOFUL, goofy, happy, 4 month-old Cocker Spaniel. I have incredibly soft, velvety fur, long delicious ears, (whatever THAT means). I love lap naps, belly rubs, and lots of cuddles! My favorite toys to play with are crinkly toys and my peanut butter KONG. I’m the kinda girl who wants to be with my people all the time, no matter what they’re doing! Do you have to throw out the trash? I’m coming to the garage with you! Have to switch out the laundry? I CAN HELPS! Do you work from home? That would be THE BEST THING IN THE WHOLE WORLD because I’m little and would love to snuggle into a bed under your desk! I think that whatever my hoomans are doing is fascinating and I wanna be involved! My foster mama says that I might have a footwear fetish because I like to bring my hoomans their socks and shoes. I haven’t damaged any of the shoes, but I sure like how they smell and I love carrying the shoes around, even if they are a lot bigger than me.
I am a smart puppy who knows how to let my foster mom know I am ready to cuddle or run around. I’m doing really well with my potty training and I always go outside when I’m taken out consistently. I haven’t figured out how to let the hoomans know when I want to go out though. I learned early-on how to use the stairs and I am a champion upstairs runner, but sometimes I go down the stairs a little too quickly and I might miss one or two. Cut me some slack, guys! I’m still a klutzy baby sometimes!  One of my most favorite things is when my doggie friends come over to play! I love to play chase, tug, and wrestle with other friendly dogs and would do very well with another playful dog in the home. No children under the age of 3, please. I am still a puppy and I can play rough and use my baby-shark teeth when mouthing.

Everyone says I am the total package! I think that’s good? I’m a  sweetheart, I’m fun and friendly to everyone I meet! I’m extra snuggly, and super duper beautiful.  I am usually very quiet and rarely bark, but I will whine for attention when I’m feeling lonely. I would be a great friend to dogs of any size, but I have never met a cat, so I am not sure what I would do if I lived with one. I don’t shed a whole lot, which my foster mom seems to like.

When I first got to my rescuers, I was super sick with pneumonia. My rescuers were really afraid for me, but they made sure I got really good care at the hospital. I was at the hospital for a long time, and then in the rescue hospital for lots of days after that. My rescuers did so much to help me feel better, and they tell me every day that they are very proud of how hard I fought. I’ve been all better for over a month, and now I’m ready to find the family I’m supposed to be with forever.

KNOWN HISTORY – Lily is a mill broker surrender, who arrived at PRAR terribly sick on Feb 20th. She spent 9 days in ICU and another 3 weeks after that in our medical room recovering, before being moved to a foster home where she has been loved and doted on!  These pups  lived the first 10-12 weeks of their lives being nothing more than a number or merchandise. Their whole worlds changed the day they came into our program! They finally got to be members of a real family, and we can’t wait to watch them grow up in loving homes where they are part of YOUR family, too!

Won’t you please consider adding this precious, sweet, loving little girl to your family? If you are not quite ready to add a new member to your family, won’t you please #SHARE our adoptable kiddos on social media? You never know when your share is the share that will bring them home.

Lily’s adoption fee is $850 and includes spay, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations and dewormers. She will come home with a hobo bag of things to help her get started in her new furever home. You can apply to welcome her into your family by completing an adoption application below.

Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog (now and in the future) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying.
