Lemon_-4

💗 LEMON 💗

Hi! I’m Lemon, aka Lemon Meringue Pie, aka Lemon Drop. As my name would suggest I’m just about as sweet as can be with just a little bit of sass! I’m a delightful, snuggly 3 month-old, 24 pound Golden Retriever girl who can hold my own in a wrestling match with the other pups in da house. In typical Golden Girl fashion, I get along with everyone, and everyone is my friend. I even love the resident cat, but he doesn’t seem to appreciate me as much as I appreciate him. I love playing with toys, getting belly rubs, and snacking on bananas! I was never allowed to go outside until I came to Colorado. I REALLY love it out there! I’m working really hard on potty training now that I can go outside. I haven’t learned to tell my foster mom that I need to go out, so please take me out often and give me lots of positive reinforcement when I go where I’m supposed to. My foster mom says that I’m SUPER smart and I should master this skill quickly. I’m already learning how to sit on command, too! Although I am the sweetest Lemon-Drop you’ll ever meet, I’m still very much a big puppy with lots of energy, so I think I would like a forever home with older kids and plenty of opportunities for exercise. It would be even better if my new family knows all about my breed and appreciates a golden, floofy, buttery-soft ball of joy! I am a social butterfly and like to be wherever the party is! If fun is being had, I’m right there. After a long, hard day of playing, I like to show my softer side and snuggle with my foster mom.  So whaddya say? Do you need a Lemony-Drop in your life? If so, please submit an adoption application to meet me!

KNOWN HISTORY – BROKER SURRENDER. This kiddo was very likely bred at a puppy mill, where they were nothing more than a number. Their lives changed the day they were surrendered to PRAR! They’ve lived in loving foster homes with wonderful families to show them what the GOOD LIFE looks like!

Won’t you please consider adding this precious, sweet, loving, super happy little girl to your family? If you are not quite ready to add a new member to your family, won’t you please SHARE our adoptable kiddos to your social media? You never know when your share will be the share that brings them home. 💖

Lemon’s adoption fee is $850 and includes spay, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations and dewormers. She will come home with a hobo bag of things to help her get started in her new furever home. You can apply to welcome this beautiful young lady into your family by completing an adoption application below.

Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog, (professional training will be required within 1 year of adoption) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying, (see minimum requirements above).
