💖 GIBBS 💖

Anyone who is a fan of NCIS, will understand how Gibbs got his name.  This 3 month old Shi-poo (Shih-Tzu/Poodle) is the strong and silent type who loves to sit back a bit and observe. Always with a waggy tail tho… seriously! A true negotiator at heart, when Gibbs wants a toy one of his foster siblings is playing with he appears to negotiate with them and they give it up to him without any fuss. It’s really kind of amazing to watch him work his persuasive magic! Gibbs loves to run and play with his siblings and is not afraid to rough house with them.  He loves the bully sticks/chew toys and playing in the cat tunnel. Gibbs also loves, loves, loves his Hoomans, like… a LOT!  He’s always the first one to greet his Hoomans.  When his foster Mom puts him on the couch, he lays on his back in a blissfully relaxed state.  He will never be able to play poker. His tail wags the entire time he is being held. As a matter of fact, his tail wags ENDLESSLY no matter WHAT is going on. Is Gibbs nervous? Tail wags. Is he frustrated? Tail is still wagging. Is he happy? Well-duh! THAT. TAIL. WAGS. CONSTANTLY!  He is absolutely the sweetest little boy.  He loves to be held by his Hoomans and wraps his paws around their neck to give them a big hug!  He loves playing and cuddling with the kiddos who visit his foster mom. This smart boy is very good about always going on the potty pads in the pen.  He’s just starting to learn how to potty outside, but with consistent training, should pick up on it in no time

KNOWN HISTORY – Mill broker surrender. These pups have lived their entire lives being nothing more than a number or merchandise. Their whole worlds changed the day they came into our program! They finally got to be members of a real family, and we can’t wait to watch them grow up in loving homes where they are part of YOUR family, too!

Won’t you please consider adding this precious, sweet, loving little boy to your family? If you are not quite ready to add a new member to your family, won’t you please #SHARE our adoptable kiddos on social media? You never know when your share is the share that will bring them home.

Gibbs’ adoption fee is $850 PLUS a $200 refundable neuter deposit, which will be refunded after he has been neutered at our veterinarian at 6-7 months of age. His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations and dewormers. He will come home with a hobo bag of things to help him get started in his new furever home. You can apply to welcome him into your family by completing an adoption application below.

Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog (now and in the future) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying.
