💖 FRANKLIN 💖

This 3 month old little-bitty Beagle boy will keep you in stitches AND snuggles! He’s a well rounded lil’ dude who loves to play, and thoroughly enjoys snuggles from his hoomans! Have you seen those precious puppy dog eyes and flopsy hound-dog ears?! Franklin is a friendly, curious boy whose nose guides his grand adventures! He loves the company of other dogs and plays a LOT! He can play a little rough, so might not be well suited for super tiny 4-legged friends. No worries here though, because Franklin can hang with the “big dogs” all day long! He’s a bit of a chow-hound, and meal times are his favorite times of day! Franklin loves toys, and playing tug with friends, or even snagging a toy and going off to a quiet corner for some chew time. Franklin has learned how to use the doggy door and is doing well with potty training. He will use a potty pad overnight if the need arises.

About the Breed

Not only is the Beagle a loyal companion, it is also happy-go-lucky, funny, and ‘thanks to its pleading expression’ cute. They were bred to hunt in packs, so they enjoy company and are generally easygoing. There are two Beagle varieties: those standing under 13 inches at the shoulder, and those between 13 and 15 inches. Both varieties are sturdy, solid, and ‘big for their inches,’ as dog folks say. They come in such pleasing colors as lemon, red and white, and tricolor. The Beagle’s fortune is in his adorable face, with its big brown or hazel eyes set off by long, houndy ears set low on a broad head. A breed described as ‘merry’ by its fanciers, Beagles are loving and lovable, happy, and companionable’ all qualities that make them excellent family dogs. It’s no wonder that for years the Beagle has been the most popular hound dog among American pet owners. These are curious, clever, and energetic hounds who require plenty of playtime.

KNOWN HISTORY – BROKER SURRENDER. This kiddo was very likely bred at a puppy mill, where they were nothing more than a number. Their lives changed the day they were surrendered to PRAR! They’ve lived in loving foster homes with wonderful families to show them what the GOOD LIFE looks like!

Won’t you please consider adding this precious, sweet, loving little boy to your family? If you are not quite ready to add a new member to your family, won’t you please #SHARE our adoptable kiddos on social media? You never know when your share is the share that will bring them home.

Franklin’s adoption fee is $750 and includes neuter, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations and dewormers. He will come home with a hobo bag of things to help him get started in his new furever home. You can apply to welcome him into your family by completing an adoption application below.

Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog (now and in the future) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying.
