FLOYD – LAB MIX, MALE

#AdoptableFloyd, aka, Floyd the Fearless. The only thing that scares him are naps. He whines and struggles to stay awake like a toddler, but otherwise this little man is gutsy. He hasn’t quite mastered the stairs, but is trying every day to sneak up them, even if he is slightly confused how to get back down. Floyd is the one his brothers hide behind whenever there is a loud noise, and he’s the first to join in on the action when they are playing. He loves to explore and play tug-o-war and maneuvering himself under and over the bottom rungs of our kitchen chairs like he’s Catherine-Zeta Jones in that Sean Connery heist movie with the lasers. When he wants something, he looks up with those big beautiful brown eyes and just melts your heart right into the floor. Floyd can be vocal and it’s the sweetest sound ever. He’s always down for a good snuggle, but he usually naps next to his hoomans and not in their laps. Probably because he wants to be ready for another adventure at a moment’s notice. Floyd is a great eater, but not fervently so, and is great at sharing with his siblings. He sleeps through the night either in his crate or in his pen and potties on the pads most of the time. We think he would be happiest with a pup sister or brother to pal around with.

Floyd and his 10, yes TEN siblings were found after they and their mama, Bonnie, had been unceremoniously dumped in a rural field in Oklahoma. The babies were maybe a day old, and their mom was emaciated and in absolutely atrocious condition. We stepped in and got this precious family to Colorado within a week to begin the healing process. Mama Bonnie has the most loving, forgiving, soft and gentle disposition. If her pups have even half of her temperament, they are going to be AMAZING! She has done well to raise all of these pups and teach them pack manners. Of course, it will be up to their new hoomans to continue their education & training to help them become the best doggos ever!

Won’t you please consider adding this precious, sweet, loving little boy to your family? If you are not quite ready to add a new member to your family, won’t you please SHARE our adoptable kiddos to your social media? You never know when your share is the share that will bring them home.

Floyd’s adoption fee is $450 and includes neuter, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations, dewormers, and he will come home with a hobo bag of things to help him get started in his new furever home. You can apply to welcome him into your family by completing an adoption application below. Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time or experience to properly train and exercise a dog (now and in the future) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying. APPLICATIONS NOT COMPLETED PROPERLY AND ENTIRELY WILL NOT BE PROCESSED
