💗 ADOPT ELEANOR! 💗

Greetings, noble hearts and royal admirers! We present to you a true gem of the canine kingdom – the illustrious Eleanor, a 3-month-old Pekingese puppy who was rescued from the clutches of a puppy mill. Eleanor, now basking in her newfound freedom, is ready to reign over a loving kingdom where she can be treated as the pampered princess she truly is.

👑 The Reigning Royalty: Eleanor is not just beautiful; she is a vision of canine grace. Her soft, cream-colored mane is fit for a queen, and she carries herself with the regal poise of royalty. She adores the snuggles and attention that come with her newfound status, and she will graciously accept your compliments on her undeniable beauty with a tail wag that speaks of her gratitude.

👑 A Royal Demeanor: Eleanor is an observer by nature, showing a cautious yet easygoing personality. She’s not timid; she’s simply discerning. Thus, a calm and composed palace would suit her best. A home with small children might disrupt her tranquil reign, so we recommend a more serene environment for our royal highness.

👑 The Court of Canine Companions: Eleanor knows her role in her foster home – she is undoubtedly the princess. While she’s gentle and enjoys being handled with the utmost care, she doesn’t demand constant attention. She adores the company of larger, noble dogs and often follows them in stately procession, relishing snuggles and companionship.

👑 An Adventurous Spirit: Eleanor possesses a curious spirit and enjoys exploring her kingdom outdoors, though she prefers leisurely strolls over rugged adventures. Being a brachiocephalic breed, she isn’t built for strenuous activities like runs or hikes. Instead, she’d be delighted if her favorite hooman would carry her through the occasional royal excursion.

👑 Independent Royalty: Princess Eleanor has an independent streak, and while she loves with all her heart, she doesn’t require constant snuggles. She enjoys playing with her favorite toys – teeny-tiny stuffed toys, tiny balls, ropes, and crinkle toys. However, nothing quite rivals the joy of a bully stick for her majesty’s chewing pleasure.

👑 The Look of Pure Adoration: When Eleanor gazes into your eyes, you’ll witness a look of pure adoration that will melt the hearts of even the most stoic of subjects. Her tail wags with joyful enthusiasm as she showers you with affectionate kisses, ensuring you’ll fall under her spell.

👑 The Royal Serenade: Eleanor is not one to bark often, but when she does, it’s a delightful, endearing chorus that is sure to bring laughter to your palace. Her sassy charm is impossible to resist, and her coat is as soft as a cloud, making petting her an exquisite experience.

Are you ready to offer Princess Eleanor the loving kingdom she deserves? If you are prepared to provide a regal home filled with love, patience, and endless belly rubs, then fill out an adoption application today!

About This Breed:

The Pekingese, a compact toy companion of regal bearing and a distinctive rolling gait, is one of several breeds created for the ruling classes of ancient China. These are sophisticated dogs of undying loyalty and many subtle delights. Pekingese are compact, stocky toy dogs weighing up to 14 pounds. The coat is longest at the neck and shoulders, giving Pekes their famous ‘lion’s mane.’ Coats come in various reds, from a golden-red to darker shades. The large, short-muzzled head is a wider-than-long ‘envelope shaped rectangle, and the eyes are large, dark, and sparkly. A unique feature of Pekes is their effortless ‘rolling’ gait. Pekes are charming, confident companions who develop a tight bond with their favorite human. Bred to live in palaces, they can be as serenely independent as the emperors who owned them. (They’re ‘opinionated, Peke people say.) Ever alert, they make good watchdogs. Pekes will tolerate kids but won’t stand for a lot of roughhousing. The Pekingese generally has low to moderate energy levels and appreciates short walks and play sessions.
