Duncan is the frat boy of puppies. This 3 month old, 4lb Maltese is outgoing, super confident, really smart, a born leader, a super fun party animal, a total goofball, he LOVES the ladies, and, well… he’s absolutely GORGEOUS! Duncan is the definition of FUN. He HAS fun, he IS fun, and you’re going to have fun WITH him! Playing is Duncan’s number 1 and number 2 favorite things. Whether he’s running and leaping into your arms, or wrestling with his 4-legged buddies, Duncan is taking life by the balls and enjoying EVERY SINGLE SECOND of it! He is full of wonderful puppy energy and enthusiasm. He plays hard, but he’s also really sweet and snuggly, too… He will check-in often with his hoomans to get some lovies, then he’s off to the races, running around the house, drifting around corners, tripping over himself and sometimes skidding into walls! We can guarantee that this beautiful boy will keep you in stitches! Duncan isn’t the “clingy, needy” type of guy. He’s pretty independent for the most part, and is good about keeping himself occupied if his hoomans are busy, but he likes to know that his people are nearby. He’s not demanding of attention and will simply lay down on your feet, so that you know he is near and is ready for lovies when you are. Equal parts playtime and snuggle time is what Duncan needs!  

Duncan has done exceptionally well with every dog he’s met, regardless of their size. He runs zoomies, plays tug, initiates wrestling, and loves to play chase with whichever dog will give him the time of day. He’s a caretaker, too. He happily grooms his 4-legged buddies, and his 2-legged friends, too!  When this buttery-soft baby is ready to relax, his most favorite place to be is in your lap, giving you ALLL the kisses in his kissy tank. If you’re rubbing his tum-tum, or combing his luxurious hair – well, that’s even better! Speaking of, this kiddo’s coat is going to require meticulous grooming and upkeep. Looking THIS good does not come without work, folks! Duncan just busted outta the joint a couple of weeks ago and took his very first steps outside. As such, potty training has only just begun and is a work in progress. He will need consistency to help him master this skill.  Duncan is looking for a home where he is free to be his goofy self, has another friendly, energetic, friendly dog to pal around with, and that will give him all the love, snuggles and kisses he can handle!  Because of his itty-bitty size, and quick movements, his family will have to be careful not to step on him or get tripped up by him. We think that an active family with children over 8 would be ideal. If you think this ridiculously awesome lil’ dude would be a great fit for your family, fill out that application! 

KNOWN HISTORY – BROKER SURRENDER. This kiddo was very likely bred at a puppy mill, where they were nothing more than a number. Their lives changed the day they were surrendered to PRAR! They’ve lived in loving foster homes with wonderful families to show them what the GOOD LIFE looks like!

Duncan’s adoption fee is $850 and includes neuter, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations and dewormers. He will come home with a hobo bag of things to help him get started in his new furever home. You can apply to welcome him into your family by completing an adoption application below.

Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog (now and in the future) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying.
