💗 Duke & Pitter 💗

Do you want lots of cuddles and undying love? Well this bonded pair would love to find a special family to give everything they have to!

Hi folks, my name is Duke and according to my foster mom, I am the cuddliest dog ever! I am the darker Yorkie in our photo. My brother from another mother is Pitter, (the tan Cairn Terrier.) We came from Oklahoma where our former owner could not take care of us anymore. We are only 25 – 3.5 years old, so we have lots of years to be part of a new family and we are really looking forward to it. I get really sad when I am separated from Pitter and he does too, so we would have to be adopted together! Everyone says we are sweet, fun, snuggly, and absolutely adorable. We love our people and we want to be with them all the time. We wrestle and play with each other to get our wiggles out. We are THRILLED when new people come to visit, and we love saying, “Helllooooooo” to new friends when they arive! We love to run around, play with toys and absolutely enjoy walks. We don’t need a ton of space, a nice back yard with room to run is good enough for us!  We are also pretty quiet, and rarely bark. We go into and sleep peacefully in our crates amazingly well, but we love cuddling on the bed if that is what the people prefer! We are potty-trained and behave well enough to leave alone if you have errands to run. PEOPLE are really the focal point for both of us. We love EVERYONE who comes by and want to get pets, hugs and cuddle-up with new friends. We do tend to jump up on people because we are just so excited to see them, but we are gentle. Pitter is a SUPER BIG fan of giving lots of kisses. ♥  I am more of the cuddler. We are really well behaved when our people are working (except we do distract our foster mom as we will wrestle quietly or just be adorably snuggled on our dog bed and she needs to turn the video camera to show us off). The highlight of our day is cuddle-time on the couch. We act just like siblings, getting jealous and pushing in if the other one is getting attention. We will play a bit with toys, but we are not the type to fetch a ball and return it. We are more likely to want to steal the toy from each other which makes our humans laugh. We are amazingly well-behaved with the cat at the foster home, we are good with other dogs and we would be great with kids as we are quite gentle. Please consider taking us home to be part of your family!

KNOWN HISTORY – Duke & Pitter were owner surrendered to our program when the daughter went off to college. The family no longer had the time to care for them.

Won’t you please consider adding these precious, sweet, loving little angels to your family? If you are not quite ready to add a new member to your family, won’t you please #SHARE our adoptable kiddos on social media? You never know when your share is the share that will bring them home.
