Clarence will require regular professional grooming for the rest of his life. Please keep this expense in mind prior to applying to adopt. The tear stains will go away when they are old enough to start going to the groomer. 😍

HELLLLOOOO my Hoomans, my name is Clarence, I am an exceptionally handsome 5 lb. male Bichon Frise with the most luscious white coat and uber-plush booty, (watch out corgis!) My foster mama is always kissing my nose, I swear she keeps telling me I have THE most adorably boop-able snoot. I like being picked up and cuddled, and I secretly LOVE the affection I receive. When I want down to play, you must release me at once. You might have seen me on ESPN as my zoomies are as fast as Travis Kelce scoring a touchdown! Don’t be fooled by my belly (its puppy weight after all). Now that I’ve learned what toys are, I really love playing with the squeaky ones! they are soooo loud and fun! I’m still a baby, so my claim to fame is that I play really hard, then I need to NAP really hard! I will be putty in your arms if you scratch behind my ears. I really want a forever home that can give me the attention I need and deserve. When I first interact with a new hooman I might be a little shy, but in a few minutes, when I realize that you just want to give me snoogles, I become your #1 fan!
Clarence is doing great with potty training but will need on-going support as he learns to go outside 100% of the time. Clarence is pleased as punch to be your sidekick in the recliner, and to get up and get active chasing you around the yard! He is a very silly, playful pup, but this pup needs his downtime to recharge. Clarence is happy to take a nap on your lap or sleep in his kennel, he’s well-rounded like that. Clarence seems to be wise beyond his years and wants to find loving hoomans to please. He is an extremely sweet and genuine boy. He is still a puppy, though, and will sneak in some toe nibbles when you aren’t expecting them! He loves nylabones and those help with his urge to chew. KNOWN HISTORY – This precious kiddo was surrendered to rescue by a commercial kennel. These dogs were nothing more than a number in their previous lives, but their lives changed forever the day they were surrendered to PRAR! They’ve spent their time with us living in wonderful, loving foster homes learning what it’s like to be genuinely loved. ❤️

Clarence’s adoption fee is $850 and includes neuter, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations and dewormers, and 30 days of medical insurance. The Bichon Frise (pronounced BEE-shawn FREE-say; the plural is Bichons Frises) is a cheerful, small dog breed with a love of mischief and a lot of love to give. Their black eyes and fluffy white coat make them look almost like a child’s toy. The small but sturdy and resilient Bichon Frise stands among the world’s great ‘personality dogs.’ Since antiquity, these irresistible canine comedians have relied on charm, beauty, and intelligence to weather history’s ups and downs. A good-size Bichon will stand a shade under a foot tall at the shoulder. The breed’s glory is a white hypoallergenic coat, plush and velvety to the touch, featuring rounded head hair that sets off the large, dark eyes and black leathers of the nose and lips. Bichons are adaptable companions who get on well with other dogs and children. Alert and curious, Bichons make nice little watchdogs’¿but they are lovers, not fighters, and operate under the assumption that there are no strangers, just friends they haven’t met yet. Their confidence and size make them ideal city dogs. Bichons train nicely and enjoy performing for their loved ones. Finally, there’s the happy-go-lucky Bichon personality that draws smiles and hugs wherever they go. It is easy to see that the Bichon can be your happiest and most enthusiastic companion. They are super playful and intelligent, and even novice pet parents will get along great with them. However, they do need plenty of playtime and activity. They do not like being left home alone for long hours of the day. If you can give your dog lots of attention and love, they will give you tenfold in return.
