CHARLIE – 2-3yr old Shih-Tzu Mix, Male
#AdoptableCharlie is 8.8lbs of PURE LOVE and loyalty! This 2-3 yr old Shih-Tzu/poodle mix is the perfect balance of affection and fun. He has done very well with the foster doggy (and kitty) siblings in the home. He enjoys snuggling with the hoomans on the sofa. Charlie is a player! He likes lots of toys and doesn’t care if his playmates are large or small. Charlie is doing pretty good with potty training but needs to be taken out regularly to keep him on the right path. He is excellent n his crate and on leash. Charlie has done very well with basic training and knows – sit, paw, high five, stand and spin, and down – but he does “down” with his own silly spin on it lol! Charlie will do best in a home with other pets to play with.
Charlie was found stray in Kansas, and was brought in with a large female husky who he seemed to really like. The owner of the husky said he knew who Charlie’s owners were, but refused to give any information, we don’t know why. Charlie was never reclaimed by his owners, and was sent to rescue to find a furever home that wouldn’t leave him all alone.
Won’t you please consider adding this precious, sweet, loving little boy to your family? If you are not quite ready to add a new member to your family, won’t you please SHARE our adoptable kiddos to your social media? You never know when your share is the share that will bring them home.
Charlie’s adoption fee is $450 and includes neuter, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations, dewormers, and he will come home with a hobo bag of things to help him get started in his new furever home. You can apply to welcome him into your family by completing an adoption application below. Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time or experience to properly train and exercise a dog (now and in the future) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying. APPLICATIONS NOT COMPLETED PROPERLY AND ENTIRELY WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.
