Candace Can Go Home: Week of 3/13

CANDACE
When you look up the dictionary definition of dog, you’ll find the word Candace in bold. She is the perfect mix of playful, sweet, confident, and intelligent. However, Candace has a feisty side to her. Who could blame her? She had to learn how to hold her own against her three brothers. In fact, Candace will often antagonize them until they start doing what she wants. Most of the time what she wants is to take their spot on the dog bed. A typical bossy sister move. Candace loves frolicking and chasing toys or her brothers around outside. Even though she has a nub for a tail it doesn’t stop her from trying to chase it. Candace is trying to audition for the paw-pera so you’ll often hear her practicing her singing. Singing is a strong word. Most would call it snoring and screeching. No one has had the guts to tell her though. Future hoomans should be prepared to act as a pillow for her head. Candace is too sophisticated to rest her head directly on the dirty floor. If she is on the floor, then she needs to be on her throne: her heated blanket. All Candace wants is a furry friend to play with and hoomans that will give her lots of attention (and treats).
KNOWN HISTORY –Mill broker surrender. These pups have lived their entire lives being nothing more than a number or merchandise. Their whole worlds changed the day they came into our program! They finally got to be members of a real family, and we can’t wait to watch them grow up in loving homes where they are part of YOUR family, too!

Candace’s adoption fee is $850. Her adoption fee includes spay, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations and dewormers. She will come home with a hobo bag of things to help her get started in her new furever home. You can apply to welcome her into your family by completing an adoption application below.
Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog (now and in the future) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying.
