Dear kindred spirits, 🐾 I’m Buggy, a 3-month-old, 5.4-pound Morkie, (Yorkshire Terrier / Maltese) and I’m on a quest to find my forever home. My story began in a puppy mill, but every day since has unfolded as a tale of love, resilience, and newfound discovery.

Hugs, kisses, and snuggles are my love language, and when you scoop me up, I transform into a cuddle maestro, weaving my way straight into the fabric of your heart. With my soft demeanor and gentle spirit, I’m not just seeking a home; I’m yearning to be a little beacon of joy on four paws in your life.

I’m more than a pup; I’m a social butterfly with a heart as big as my adorable floofy paws. While other pups are caught up in their games, I gravitate towards my hoomans for moments of tender connection. But here’s the sweet twist—when the dishwasher opens, I’m ALL. IN! That magical mechanical wonder sucks me in and I can’t help but to explore this wonderous machine!

Toys, chews, and playdates with dogs of all sizes? Oh, absolutely! I’m your loyal partner for all things fun. Bath time is my sanctuary—I savor the gentle massage and intimacy it brings. And during downtime, if you’re a TV buff, I’m your perfect co-pilot, especially when the drama unfolds on reality TV. I can’t resist the suspense—I’m a pup with discerning taste and a heart full of curiosity.

Now, let’s talk smarts—I’ve mastered the art of potty pads, and I thrive on  routine. Potty breaks, feeding time, sleepy time, playtime, and, my personal favorite, snuggle time—all orchestrated with the tender rhythm of my little heart. I’m not just a fluffy face; I’m a sentient being ready to infuse your life with gentle routines and unwavering love.

I’m yearning for a kindred family that cherishes the quiet beauty of moments at home. A furry friend would be the cherry on top of my journey, someone to share in the symphony of life. Are you ready to invite a little soul like me into your world? I promise to fill your days with the gentle melody of sweetness, warmth, and the purest form of puppy love, and maybe a few hilarious puppy antics and zoomies, too! If  you think I would be the perfect match for your heart, fill out the adoption application below! 🐾❤️

Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. About this breed mix:

People love the Yorkshire terrier, and they love the Maltese, so it’s only natural they would want to combine the two for a mixed breed that has the fluff and sweetness of a Maltese and the verve and coloring of a Yorkie. Universe, meet the Morkie. Like their parent breeds, Morkies are small, energetic toy dogs who love their families. Because they can be vocal about unfamiliar people, they also make good alarm systems, alerting their owners to someone walking up to the door with a sharp bark. Caring for a Morkie is pretty straightforward: Consistent, positive reinforcement training, a moderate amount of regular exercise, and regular grooming. The Morkie coat, while typically long, is often kept in a short puppy cut. Morkies are low-shedding and considered to be a low-allergen dog. And while no dog is truly hypoallergenic, Morkies can be a good fit for those who tend to sniffle around puppies.
