💗 Betty 💗

Betty is quite the little lady! This 1 year old Beagle wants nothing more than to be her hooman’s very bestest friend!  Don’t get me wrong – she LOVES to romp and play chase with her doggy friends, so another pup to pal around with (and exercise with to keep her petite figure) would be ideal.  But when she’s done playing, the first thing she does is look at you with her lovely hound dog eyes, and before you know it – she’s in your lap ready for cuddle time with her favorite person. Betty is a “Soul Dog.” She seems to be intuitive and builds a strong, loving connection with her people. We feel that Betty would do well in a home where her people can be with her more often than not.  Like any lady, Betty can seem a little demur or shy around new things and with new experiences.  But with her human alongside to give her a little confidence – she’ll try all the things! On the other hand, Betty is not afraid to get her paws dirty (digging in the garden and checking out plants are very interesting to her). Betty is doing very well with housetraining but she is still a pup and sometimes she gets so busy playing with friends that she forgets to make it outside. With consistency though, she is showing quick improvement. Do you love music? We hope so, becaue miss Betty loves to sing for you! She happily bays that typical Beagle bay along with her brother when playing, but otherwise doesn’t seem to be too much of a barker. In addition to being pawsitively gorgeous, Betty is also very smart! She is working on her basic commands and mastered, “SIT” very quickly!  Betty is, simply put, a truly wonderful, beautiful, incredibly sweet little girl who is eager to love and be loved by her human family. She will absolutely steal your heart the moment you meet her. ♥

KNOWN HISTORY – Betty and Barney were pulled out of the OKC animal shelter with horrible upper respiratory infections. Sick dogs don’t last long in municiple shelters, unfortunately. Knowing their time was exceedingly limited,  we pulled them into our program and spent a month treating their URI and getting them fully vetted and ready to find their forever families. Both their OK and CO foster families gush over these darling little dogs and their silly antics.

Won’t you please consider adding this precious, sweet, loving little girl to your family? If you are not quite ready to add a new member to your family, won’t you please #SHARE our adoptable kiddos on social media? You never know when your share is the share that will bring them home.

Betty’s adoption fee is $550 and includes spay, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations and dewormers. She will come home with a hobo bag of things to help her get started in her new furever home. You can apply to welcome her into your family by completing an adoption application below.

Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog (now and in the future) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying.

🚩APPLICATIONS NOT COMPLETED PROPERLY AND ENTIRELY WILL NOT BE PROCESSED!🚩
