💗 BETTY WHITE 💗

#AdoptableBettyWhite is a precious little girl who will be your loving, adoring shadow all day long! We estimate Betty to be about 11-12 years old, and a Maltese mix. She has been through some not good stuff in her life, but that all changed when she became a P.R.AR. baby! ♥  Though Betty is missing one eye, and doesn’t see super well out of the other eye, she is healthy and happy, and navigates her way around the house like a champ! She is a darling little cuddle-bug, and always wants to be where her hoomans are. So, if you are into getting a WHOLE lotta loves, Betty is definitely your girl. She’s the embodiment of her name-sake, and we believe she is quite deserving of the name she was given. She is kind and gentle, and a true caregiver herself. When her foster mom had dental surgery, Betty was right there by her side, snuggling in close until her foster mama felt better. ♥  She gets along very well with the other small dog in the home, and enjoys getting pets from the older children who are gentle with her.  We believe that Betty has depth perception issues, so stairs will be tricky. She will succeed best in a ranch-style home, or a home with baby gates to keep her from tumbling down the stairs. She can go UP the stairs just fine – it’s the coming down part that gets hairy. She has mastered the few steps on the foster’s back porch to go outside and back in. Betty loves to play and is starting to really show us just how young-at-heart she still is!  She loves riding in the car, and she thoroughly enjoys feeling the breeze on her precious face! She sleeps all night and goes outside to potty first thing when she gets up. Our precious little Betty is full of love, life, and joy. She will make an amazing addition to your household! We feel that Betty would do wonderfully in a home with an older human friend, and maybe another nice small dog to play with. She enjoys her hooman’s company SO much, that we are looking specifically for a home where her people can be home with her most of the time. 

KNOWN HISTORY – Betty came to our program in pretty bad shape. She was very skinny, had a dead eyeball inside of her socket, and had horrific, painful dental disease. Her coat was a filthy matted mess, too. We got Betty in for surgery to remove the dead eye, had a dental cleaning performed with 6 teeth extracted, and had her in to the groomer to relieve her of her painful mats. Betty has had follow-up bloodwork post-op and has been given a clean bill of health by her doctors. ♥

Betty’s adoption fee is $300 and includes spay, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations,  dewormers, and she will come home with a hobo bag of things to help her get started in her new furever home. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog (now and in the future) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying.
