BERNICE

Bernice is a very sweet, lovable, absolutely STUNNING pup. This adorable, 3.5 month old Bernese Mountain Dog spent the first couple months of her life in a cage. When she was rescued she didn’t know how to be a puppy and she was sick with parasites. She has been treated and she is now healthy, happy, and ready to enjoy all the fun that Colorado has to offer! Bernice is a very smart girl who quickly learned from her foster doggy sisters how to romp and play and be a dog. She loves to be outdoors and is happy to nap on the patio. She enjoys exploring and playing with her big brothers. She is not easily intimidated and can hold her own with the big boys. She is not very assertive at all and is just a happy mellow little foofball. Bernice can be bouncy and has the cutest little gallup. She is highly motivated to please even without treats. She adores attention and will readily give hugs to her hoomans. She would be very happy as a lap-dog though she will have a hard time fitting as she grows up. She is both a loyal companion dog and a working dog. She will need daily exercise and would do well with another friendly dog to pal around with. She has been exposed to cats and is non reactive. This adorable girl is so gentle and sweet she will be an absolutely amazing addition to one very lucky family!

KNOWN HISTORY – Mill broker surrender. These pups have lived their entire lives being nothing more than a number or merchandise. Their whole worlds changed the day they came into our program! They finally got to be members of a real family, and we can’t wait to watch them grow up in loving homes where they are part of YOUR family, too!

Bernice’s adoption fee is $850 and includes spay, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations, and dewormers. She will come home with a hobo bag of things to help her get started in her new furever home. You can apply to welcome her into your family by completing an adoption application below.

Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog (now and in the future) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying.!
