Lovable floppy eared pup seeks family to share a fur-ever kind of love! Austin is a 10-12 week old Labrador Retriever / Basset Hound mix.  He is still figuring out this walking thing and will trip over his own big feet when he gets too excited 😊 (Seriously, the most adorable thing you ever saw!) He is playful at heart and would be great in a family with other dogs and/or children to spend the day playing and sharing all the love he has to give. Austin is doing well sleeping through the night in the crate with his sister.  He is working on potty training and is food motivated, which makes training a breeze for this smart kiddo!

“It truly is a great thing to be a dog.  Long naps in the sun, hikes with my family, belly rubs and snuggles.  I can’t wait to experience all these things and more with my new family.”

Austin hopes that you’re looking for the same kind of forever love that he’s dreaming of! Fill out an adoption application and come meet this adorably clumsy, super sweet pup!

KNOWN HISTORY – This litter of adorable nuggets and their basset hound mom found themselves prisoners in a VERY high kill shelter in TX. Another rescue took the mom and LEFT ALL THE PUPPIES THERE TO DIE! We scooped up the babies and brought them into our program to give them a much deserved chance at life! ♥

Won’t you please consider adding this precious, sweet, loving little boy to your family? If you are not quite ready to add a new member to your family, won’t you please #SHARE our adoptable kiddos on social media? You never know when your share is the share that will bring them home.

Austin’s adoption fee is $450 and includes neuter, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations, dewormers, and heartworm prevention started. He will come home with a hobo bag of things to help him get started in his new furever home. You can apply to welcome him into your family by completing an adoption application below.

Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog (now and in the future) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying.
