Hey there, future pawrents and playmates! I’m Asha! I’m a 3-month-old Sheltie sensation who is about to steal your hearts and light up your world. 🌟
You see, I haven’t had the easiest start in life. I was rescued from a puppy mill, where I was stuck in a cage-prison, dreaming of the day when I could break free and explore the world. Well, guess what? That day has come, and I’m taking full advantage of it!
Playing is my jam, my passion, my calling in life. I’m like the fun director at my foster house, always ready to instigate games of chase with my furry friends and bursting with excitement to run and jump like there’s no tomorrow. 🏃♀️💨
But here’s the really special part: I’m not just any pup. I’m a smarty-pants with a knack for figuring out how to get games going and keep them interesting. My high level of intelligence shines through as I devise clever ways to make sure the fun never stops.
When I first arrived, I was a bit shy and clumsy, but oh boy, have I blossomed! Now, I’m a confident and athletic beauty ready to take on the world. 🌼
I’m all the best qualities of the Sheltie breed rolled into one beautiful, furry package. I want to be involved in everything happening around the house, so I’ll be your trusty sidekick, escorting you from room to room and investigating any suspicious activity. 🕵️♀️
But that’s not all! I’m a natural leader and make sure everyone gets what they need. I’ve got a big foster brother who I absolutely adore, and I’m always up for playtime with anyone, whether they’re hoomans or fellow pups. Puzzle games and problem-solving toys? Bring ’em on! I’m a whiz at those.
Oh, and did I mention I’m a quick learner? I can sit for treats with ease and have fantastic recall skills. I’m still working on potty training, but c’mon…I’m a REALLY smart girl. With consistency and treats, I’ll have that skill mastered quick!

KNOWN HISTORY – This precious kiddo was surrendered to rescue by a commercial kennel. These dogs were nothing more than a number in their previous lives, but their lives changed forever the day they were surrendered to PRAR! They’ve spent their time with us living in wonderful, loving foster homes learning what it’s like to be genuinely loved. ❤️

Asha’s adoption fee is $850 and includes spay, microchip with free lifetime registration, age appropriate vaccinations and dewormers, and 30 days of medical insurance. She will come home with a hobo bag of things to help her get started in her new furever home. Please understand that adopting from P.R.A.R. means FOREVER. Please do NOT apply if you do not have the time to properly train and exercise a dog, (professional training will be required within 1 year of adoption) or if you do not meet the minimum adoption requirements for the dog in which you are applying, (see minimum requirements above).
