Warren is not just your typical Morkie (Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese) puppy; he’s a living testament to resilience and pure, unadulterated happiness! Rescued from a puppy mill, this buttery-soft, black and tan furball has overcome challenges to become the epitome of canine cheerfulness.

His silky hair flows like a waterfall, and there’s something endearing about that one silly ear that playfully flips backward, defying gravity no matter how many times you try to fix it! Those eyes? Oh, they’re windows to an incredible intelligence and confidence that will capture your soul.

Warren is a walking, wiggly ball of affection! He has a penchant for loving on every person he meets, and his mood is perpetually set to JOY! Approach him, and he’ll happily hop up and down, urging you to pick him up for a snuggle session. Once in your arms, get ready for a barrage of kisses, as if he’s saying, “I love you SOOOOOO MUCH!!” And then, just like that, he’s off, running zoomies around the house, leaving a trail of giggles in his wake.

Resilient and social, Warren gets along swimmingly with both humans and furry friends alike. He’s a standout among his siblings, an attentive, confident leader with a heart as kind as can be. Fear not—Warren isn’t shy; in fact, he’ll try anything once, and his puppy energy is contagious.

While he may be tiny, Warren is lightning fast when it comes to playtime. However, a gentle reminder: this wiggly wonder would be best suited for a home with children over 8 who know to be gentle and keep their small toys tidy.

Warren is a social butterfly, and he absolutely thrives in the company of other friendly dogs. If you’re lucky enough to adopt this intelligent little fellow, you’ll quickly discover his knack for picking up tricks, especially when it comes to potty training. Warren is a creature of routine, delighting in schedules for potty time, mealtime, sleep time, and, of course, playtime.

About This Breed:

People love the Yorkshire terrier, and they love the Maltese, so it’s only natural they would want to combine the two for a mixed breed that has the fluff and sweetness of a Maltese and the verve and coloring of a Yorkie. Universe, meet the Morkie. Like their parent breeds, Morkies are small, energetic toy dogs who love their families. Because they can be vocal about unfamiliar people, they also make good alarm systems, alerting their owners to someone walking up to the door with a sharp bark. Caring for a Morkie is pretty straightforward: Consistent, positive reinforcement training, a moderate amount of regular exercise, and regular grooming. The Morkie coat, while typically long, is often kept in a short puppy cut. Morkies are low-shedding and considered to be a low-allergen dog. And while no dog is truly hypoallergenic, Morkies can be a good fit for those who tend to sniffle around puppies.
